Limited Space – Don’t Miss Out on Registration!

Bringing Baby Home is a scientifically based workshop developed by the Gottman's that has demonstrated success in teaching skills that help couples  strengthen and preserve their relationship through the changes that occur when a child is born.

A Healthy Relationship leads to a healthier Baby!

  • Stress and anxiety have adverse effects on the fetus and child.

  • Satisfying relationships have shown to reduce maternal stress and anxiety and provide an optimal environment for your baby’s mental and physical development.

  • Early relationships set a template for your child’s ability to learn healthy responses to internal and external stressors.

  • Nature or Nurture?  Both!  Brain development is influenced by both genetics and life experiences!

  • Rapid brain development takes place in the first year of life. Just because a baby cannot understand harsh words does not mean they will not be affected by them.  Emotional tone is important!

  • Early interactions directly affect the way the brain is wired

Being a New Parent is Difficult!

Research  statistics show that 2/3 of couples will suffer a drastic reduction in their happiness soon after a child is born. The reasons? Sleep deprivation, depression and anxiety which can lead to emotional distance and even hostility. The lasting damage this does to a couple’s relationship and their baby’s health and well-being CAN be avoided!

Help is Available!

67% of couples who attend a Bringing Baby Home workshop report a significant increase in relationship satisfaction!

This workshop is based on decades of research by Drs. John and Julie Gottman.
