Participants will be able to:

  • Describe how one’s culture and history impact their values and beliefs about sexual rights and justice in sexuality education and identify how bias can impact promoting justice and sexual rights when designing and delivering sexuality education. 
  • Identify ethical challenges for promoting sexual rights and social justice in sexuality education and demonstrate an ability to manage ethical dilemmas in sexuality education.

  • Demonstrate an ability to assess sexuality education for social justice concerns and describe strategies to promote the availability of inclusive equitable sexuality education.



This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 4.5 CE credits and is considered synchronous learning if in attendance to the live webinar. Participants will be expected to complete a post webinar assignment as part of the completion of the 4.5 AASECT CE's. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification through the Sexuality Training Institute.
