Participants will be able to:

  • Describe how the sexual rights currently included in the Declaration by the World Association of Sexology are fundamental human rights and discuss individual and group attitudes and values about sexual rights.
  • Describe how at least 3 sexual rights are experienced in various ways in the United States and globally an identify how sexual rights impact sexual health.

  • Identify how multiple aspects of intersectionality can impact someone’s experience with at least 3 sexual rights and

    demonstrate how diversity in access to sexual rights impacts sexual health.


This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 4.5 CE credits and is considered synchronous learning if in attendance to the live webinar. Participants will be expected to complete a post webinar assignment as part of the completion of the 4.5 AASECT CE's. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification through the Sexuality Training Institute.
